Abstract
Alzheimer's disease is the top cause of dementia among people aged 65 and above. It is a progressive disease that leaves the patient unable to live his life normally and eventually degrades the patient's cognitive ability and bodily functions and may lead to death. Early diagnosis may help doctors delay the progress of the disease and allow the patient to live a long time in better mental and physical states. In this study, we investigate the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's patients using MRI scans of the hippocampal regions with segmentation ground truths and propose a pseudo-label generation method for class labels based on a sample dataset.
